Our Team
Prior to starting Elias Construction, Mickey worked as a finish carpenter and still enjoys getting
out his tool belt, whether it’s on the job site helping the Elias crew or around his home.
When not swinging a hammer or managing the company, Mickey spends his time with his wife,
Holly, and their two young children, Owen and Cora, at their country home Annendale Acres.

Holly earned a degree in computer graphics while studying at RCTC. She has held various positions like Operations Administrative Assistant, Department Lead and Pharmacy Technician. Currently, she works as Sales Administrative Assistant and the Operations Manager at Completely Clean. Holly and Mickey have two children, Owen and Cora and lots of animals including two dogs, three cats and ten chickens at their country home in Byron. She enjoys crafting and thrift shopping during her free time.

Michele joined Elias Construction in January 2019. She loves working in the office setting and
one of her favorite parts of her job is visiting with potential new clients and introducing them to
the Elias Experience. Her passion for numbers and Excel also makes her thrive as our Finance
Controller. Outside of work she loves to scrapbook/craft, garden, landscape, hike and spend
)me with her dog, Mauer.

Dayo moved to Rochester from Kentucky in 2017 and was a middle school Science teacher for
19 years before joining Elias in 2022. She enjoys reading, writing and watching her daughter
show life who’s boss!

Bill specializes in designing interior spaces that are not only beautiful, but efficient and
functional. Bill and his wife, Kristi, have four wonderful children, Kadyn, Kaige, Khord and Kohen.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, golfing, fishing and working on
projects around his yard.

Jessica has worked in the design industry for over a decade and has an A.A.S in Interior Design.
She joined Elias in 2018 and loves developing relationships with clients and designing beautiful
spaces with them. A forever Vikings fan, Jessica also enjoys as much time as possible relaxing up north and spending time with her three sons Wes, Owen & Graham and her better half, Dean.

Dan entered the trades full time in 2009 after years of towing cars in Minneapolis. He recently
married his wife, Hillary, and they currently live in Byron with their son, Dylan, and five pets.
In his free time, Dan likes to travel, fish, spend time with family and binge-watch various series
on TV.

Nate entered the trades in 2007 by way of the Carpentry Program at RCTC. After working a few
years for a custom home builder in Plainview, he became a licensed general contractor himself
in 2010. Having been friends with Mickey since age 17, coming on as Lead Carpenter for Elias
Construction in 2013 was a no-brainer and made for an extremely smooth transition.
When Nate isn’t swinging a hammer, you can find him with his family. He enjoys taking trips
with his life partner, Marie, and their son and likes going for bike rides and attending the
occasional concert.

Dick is our Cabinet Shop Manager and has 40 years of cabinetry experience. He owned
Mountain Oaks Cabinetry in Austin, MN for 28 years before joining the Elias team.
Dick and his wife, Kay, reside in Dexter, MN and have been married for 42 years with two
children and four grandchildren.

John lives in St. Ansgar, Iowa with his wife Allison and three kids, Lucas, Maddie and Hunter.
Before joining the Elias team, he worked side by side with his Dad for 16 years at Mountain Oaks
Cabinetry in Austin, MN.
In his free time, John likes to be outside with his family, watch Minnesota sports, and investigate
the paranormal.
John Weaver
Cabinet Shop Lead
Dick entered the trades in 2012 doing framing, roofing, siding, and concrete work. He worked
his way into home remodeling in 2019, quickly joining the Elias team in 2021. Dick says working
for Elias has been "the most rewarding job he's ever had. The energy and drive for everyone to
improve daily is unmatched."
In his free time, you'll find him cheering on his teenage daughter, Kaylee, as she kicks butt in
sports, and taking care of the littlest members of his own team, Bentley, Charlee and Dunlee.
He loves swimming and spending time outdoors with his fiancé, Brittany and, if time allows,
riding his Harley. He's also about the biggest MN Wild and Twins fan you've ever seen.
Dick Dessner

James was born and raised in Rochester and resides there to this day. He has 25 years of
experience and had his own finish carpentry business.
James considers himself a family man with three kids, a people person and an artist.
James Jelle
Lead Finish Carpenter
Kyle is 25 years old and is from Kasson, MN. He resided in Winona for a short time where his
career in construction began, learning soon after that he had a love for finish carpentry in the
residential setting.
When he’s not on the clock, Kyle enjoys fly fishing for trout and is involved with the local
catholic community in and around Rochester.
Kyle Nichols

Anton graduated from St. Cloud University in 2016 with a degree in Construction Management
and then joined Elias Construction in 2019. In his free time, Anton spends time with his wife
Tessa and their two dogs, Luna and Milo. Together they love biking, camping, golfing, and
playing yard games at home. Anton also enjoys traveling to new destinations and working on
house projects to update his own home.
